The Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act requires South East Development (Melbourne) ACC - abbreviated to SED throughout this website - to advise you of our principles covering the collection, use, storage and disclosure of personal information that you may provide or seek to obtain from SED.
Who are we? SED is an incorporated body, funded by the Commonwealth Government, with a charter to facilitate regional economic development and employment in Melbourne's outer south east.

What information do we have about you? SED may have your non business contact details on a database; such information will have been provided by you or obtained through a third party.
How will your personal information be used? The reason SED may collect information from individuals and organisations is to allow it to more effectively and efficiently undertake its charter. SED will notify individuals and organisations of the purpose for collecting information at the point of collection.
Who will use your personal information? SED may use the collected information to support its own research or project activity, or assist other community organisations in their endeavours.
Disclosure of your personal information? Individual personal details will not be disclosed by SED to external parties without the express permission of the individual involved.
